Job Opportunity:

The role of Senior Data Engineer is a high-level position that requires expertise in designing and developing performant SQL scripts, stored procedures, and queries in Snowflake.

As part of our team, you will work closely with business analysts and domain experts to translate pharmaceutical data requirements into scalable solutions using Snowflake features and external ETL tools.

You will be responsible for building and optimizing ELT pipelines, creating and maintaining data models and data marts to support analytics and reporting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve system efficiency.

Additionally, you will implement data security, governance, and compliance protocols based on industry regulations, tune performance for complex queries and large data sets to ensure optimal utilization, develop reusable components and utilities for accelerated development, and participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives such as white papers, technical discussions, and learning sessions.

Requirements:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in Snowflake development, data modeling, and warehouse design. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools, cloud platforms, and integration techniques.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with certifications in Snowflake or cloud platforms.

Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and Shell, as well as BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Looker, is also essential.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary for success in this role.
