Technical Support Specialist

Job Description:

This position requires the ability to effectively support customers with technical issues related to cloud deployments, networking, and vmware administration. The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for providing top-notch support via phone, web, email, chat, and other support channels.

  • Provide technical support to customers via various communication channels
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cloud deployments, networking, and vmware administration
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective resolution of complex technical issues
  • Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles and technical guides

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in enterprise technical support/Dev Ops, Troubleshooting, including advanced issues such as snapshots, replication, data recovery, cloud deployments, networking, and vmware administration
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and good technical knowledge of Vmware, linux, Kubernetes, Google cloud platform, Aws, and azure
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience on cloud deployments, scripting (Python, Perl), automation skills, microservices architecture, SaaS systems, and managing apps on clouds
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
