Legal Team Member Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to work as a key member of our legal team. As part of this role, you will support business teams in drafting, vetting, and negotiating agreements related to business development, international business, trusts, and other activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Agreements: We are looking for an individual who can draft, structure, vet, negotiate, and finalize agreements in line with the business understanding and ensure appropriate risk mitigation for the company.
  • Statutory Compliance: You will review statutory compliances at various locations and suggest remedial measures. You will work with concerned stakeholders to ensure remedial measures are put in place in a timely manner.
  • Risk Mitigation: In this role, you will understand the business and analyze the risk involved and advise on mitigating liabilities for the company.
  • Advisory: You will advise stakeholders from time to time on various issues.

Educational Qualifications

  • LL.B. / LL.M.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Drafting, vetting, and negotiating various kinds of agreements within India and cross border.
  • Exposure to Statutory Compliances, Litigation, and Intellectual Property law would be advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation skills and business and financial acumen.
  • Strong communications and drafting skills, including the ability to draft high-quality agreements and other documents.
  • Well-versed in how business operates in a high degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
  • Ability to have influence across all levels of the business, including peers and senior management, and able to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented, with good judgement and sound risk mitigating skills.
