About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our cloud storage product. Your expertise will be critical in identifying and mitigating potential flaws, optimizing system performance, and driving defect prevention.

  • Develop and execute test plans to expose weaknesses in storage tiering, kernel interactions, and edge cases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements
  • Leverage automation frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency
  • Mentor junior engineers in defensive thinking and establish CI/CD pipelines
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for software testing and quality assurance

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in software testing, particularly in storage systems, filesystems, or cloud infrastructure. You should be well-versed in scripting languages (Java, Python, Bash, Go) and test automation tools. Additionally, experience with kernel debugging and cloud storage platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
