Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of digital forensic experts and oversee all aspects of incident response engagements. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in digital forensics, cybersecurity, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

The Associate Director of Forensics will be responsible for:

  • Managing and overseeing all aspects of Digital Forensics Incident Response (DFIR) engagements
  • Leading multiple Tiger Teams in performance, execution, delivery, quality control, and client development
  • Providing expert analysis and insights to clients and breach coaches
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in digital forensics, cybersecurity, and team management
  • Extensive knowledge of digital forensics tools and techniques, including EnCase, Axiom, X-Ways, FTK, SIFT, ELK, Redline, Volatility, and open-source forensic tools
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A deep understanding of the cybersecurity industry and market trends
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications would be highly beneficial:

  • Experience managing and mentoring forensic teams in a security, incident response or professional services consulting firm
  • Proficient in scripting or programming languages, such as Perl, Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Familiarity with common data breach response processes and procedures
