UI Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled UI developer to fill this key role in our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with ReactJS and jQuery, working across engineering and business development teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Front-End Development & Implementation
    • Develop responsive web applications using ReactJS and jQuery.
    • Foster seamless user experiences by following best practices in UX/UI design.
    • Optimize front-end performance for enhanced application speed and responsiveness.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Work with engineering teams to integrate UI components with backend services.
    • Partner with business development teams to translate customer needs into design solutions.
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions, providing creative UI/UX input.
  • Design & Prototyping
    • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new product features.
    • Conduct usability testing, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
    • Maintain design consistency across all products and platforms.
  • Code Quality & Maintenance
    • Write clean, reusable, and efficient code for UI components.
    • Maintain and update existing UI frameworks and libraries.
    • Troubleshoot and debug UI-related issues.
  • Staying Current with Trends & Technologies
    • Keep up with emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
    • Advocate for modern UI frameworks and design approaches to improve the development process.
    • Continuously enhance skills and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
    Required Qualifications:
    • 3+ years of experience in UI development.
    • Proficiency in ReactJS, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
    • Experience with responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, etc.).
    • Knowledge of design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
    • Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization.
    • Experience working in Agile development environments using tools like Jira and Confluence.
    • Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating UI with backend services.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with UI testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.).
    • Familiarity with TypeScript and modern CSS frameworks.
    • Knowledge of accessibility best practices (WCAG, ARIA).
