About the Position

As an Applied AI Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, refine, and deploy AI models that drive intelligent automation and real-world advisory systems. You'll translate cutting-edge research into usable solutions and oversee the model lifecycle from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and optimize machine learning models for multi-turn dialogue, entity extraction, reasoning, and decision-making.
  • Fine-tune LLMs (e.g., GPT, Mistral, LLaMA) for domain-specific use cases using open-source frameworks.
  • Evaluate model performance using qualitative and quantitative methods (BLEU, ROUGE, Precision/Recall, etc.).
  • Contribute to rapid experimentation pipelines and scalable AI deployments.
  • Work with platform engineers to package models for secure, efficient inference (on-premise/cloud).
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in agentic AI, NLP, and LLM alignment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in applied ML or AI research roles.
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering or Data Scientist.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, PyTorch, HuggingFace, or LangChain.
  • Experience fine-tuning or customizing LLMs, especially for reasoning, dialogue, or retrieval-augmented generation.
  • Strong understanding of NLP and generative model architectures.
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
  • Pre: Familiarity with agent frameworks or function-calling architectures.
