Ethnic Wear Designer

This position involves conceptualizing seasonal men's ethnic wear collections, with a focus on market research, trend forecasting, and selection of fabrics and trims.
Main Responsibilities- Conducting market research to identify trends in ethnic menswear and forecast future demand.
- Selecting appropriate fabrics, trims, embroideries, and other materials aligned with the brand positioning.
- Creative sketching and design proficiency to develop innovative silhouettes that blend tradition with contemporary design.
- Coordinating with sampling units, collaborating with merchandisers, artisans, and production teams.
- Oversight of fittings, styling, and presentation of final garments, ensuring they meet commercial viability standards.
- Strong knowledge of Indian textiles, embroidery, and surface ornamentation.
- Excellent creative sketching and design skills.
- Trend forecasting and color story development expertise.
- Fabric sourcing and technical garment construction knowledge.
- Team collaboration and time management skills.
