Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PHP professional to join our team. As a Lead PHP Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex web applications using PHP.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the highest level of code quality, scalability, and maintainability. You will work closely with our development team to design, implement, and deploy cutting-edge solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from small-scale enhancements to large-scale system integrations. You will also be expected to mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the growth and development of our team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Mastery of the PHP language (6+ years of experience) with expertise in version 8.x
  • Deep understanding of MVC-based frameworks, specifically Laminas (Zend), Laravel, or Symphony
  • Proficiency in writing unit tests to ensure high-quality code
  • Experience working with complex legacy code bases (50+ modules), such as ERP systems
  • Familiarity with best practices for code quality and ability to make informed programming decisions
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proven track record of successful collaboration with international clients (US, Europe, Australia) through direct verbal and written communication
