Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for enterprise-level software applications, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing downtime.

Main Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and Incident Management: Serve as the primary contact for overall application monitoring, incident response, and user-reported issues.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to applications, databases, and integrations, coordinating with development teams to implement fixes and enhancements.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Management: Maintain accurate records of incidents, solutions, and changes in the production environment, creating and updating support documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.
  • Change Management and Release Support: Assist in planning and executing application releases and updates, conducting impact assessments for proposed changes to production systems.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, 8+ years of experience in supporting business applications.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, ITIL processes, experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira), proficiency in troubleshooting Unix/Linux environments, and familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
