Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Chemplast Sanmar Limited is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting activities for static and rotary equipment in the Cabot plant, adhering to safety norms.
  • Ensure plant availability through effective mechanical maintenance activities.
  • Plan and execute maintenance tasks with a focus on quality and timeliness.
  • Mobilize resources for day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities and ensure compliance with procedures and best practices.
  • Prepare and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules for rotating equipment.
  • Accountable for maintenance of rotary and static equipment to ensure zero breakdowns.
  • Responsible for scheduling and executing routine and shutdown maintenance of equipment.
  • Ensure all departmental activities comply with safety and quality standards.
  • Track equipment history and analyze root causes of failures.
  • Continuously assess and improve systems and practices to reduce maintenance costs and improve energy efficiency.
  • Prepare JSA for shutdown jobs in accordance with Chemplast Safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain ISO documentation, including equipment history reports, failure reports, and vendor analysis.
  • Condition monitor equipment using vibration analysis kits.
Requirements:
  • B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 5-10 years of experience.
  • Location: Mettur.
