Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Chemplast Sanmar Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting activities for static and rotary equipment in our Cabot plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine and shutdown maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all departmental activities.
  • Mobilize resources for day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities and execute tasks with quality and timeliness.
  • Prepare and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules for all rotating equipment.
  • Condition monitoring of equipment using vibration analyzing kits to identify potential issues before they occur.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance maintenance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including equipment history reports, failure reports, and vendor analysis, to ensure ISO-14001 and OHSAS-18001 system compliance.

Requirements:

  • B.E / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering with 5-10 years of experience.
