Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled VMware professional to join our team as an IT Specialist. This individual will be responsible for administering and supporting VMware vSphere environments, deploying and managing Dell VxRail HCI systems, and ensuring the overall health and security of our virtual infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and support VMware vSphere environments (ESXi, vCenter) with expertise in configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Deploy and manage Dell VxRail HCI systems, including hardware/software lifecycle management, cluster expansion, and LCM (Life Cycle Management).
  • Perform upgrades, patching, backups, and performance tuning on VMware and VxRail components to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Monitor system health, manage capacity, and respond to alerts proactively to prevent downtime and data loss.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and data protection best practices in virtual environments by implementing robust security measures and following industry standards.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and process improvement.
  • Provide support during incidents, outages, and infrastructure projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • VMware vSphere (6.x/7.x), vCenter, vMotion, HA/DRS
  • Dell VxRail deployment, cluster expansion, and LCM (Life Cycle Management)
  • Experience with vSAN and HCI concepts
