The selected individual will work on various aspects of wind turbine blades, including inspecting, diagnosing, adjusting or repairing offshore wind turbines. Previous experience in data analysis using MS-Excel, smart sheet, and MS-Office applications would be highly valued.
A deep understanding of wind turbine blades and operational factors influencing their performance and longevity is essential. The successful candidate should be a proactive learner who continuously seeks to enhance knowledge and skills in blade technology and condition monitoring.
Key responsibilities include:
- Fault mode identification: Diagnose and identify complex blade-specific fault modes
- Blade repair knowledge: Possess hands-on knowledge of blade repair and ability to understand failure modes and repair methods
- Operational factors: Knowledge of operational factors affecting blade performance and longevity
