Structural Foundation Specialist for Renewable Energy

Our organization seeks a skilled Structural Foundation Specialist to design, analyze, and optimize wind turbine generator foundations. The selected candidate will ensure the safety, reliability, and compliance of these structures with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize WTG foundations using various techniques (gravity-based, spread footing, piled, rock-anchored, shallow mat, ribbed beam, etc.)
  • Perform structural load and stress calculations (gravity, wind, seismic, fatigue)
  • Assess and select construction materials for efficiency and sustainability
  • Prepare and review design basis reports, BOQs, drawings, and calculations
  • Ensure adherence to BIS, ASCE, AISC, SBC, Eurocode, and other relevant standards
  • Collaborate with geotechnical, hydrology, BoP, electrical, and CTS teams
  • Support external certification processes
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Provide technical support to procurement partners and consultants
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization) or Master's in Structural or Civil (preferred)
  • Experience: 8–12 years in Power & Utilities sector with focus on renewable energy foundations
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, PLAXIS 2D/3D, and expertise in WTG foundation design, geotechnical risk assessment, hydrology, seismic analysis, civil design codes
