Lead Project Finance Specialist

Solar and renewable energy companies are driving the transition to clean energy across industries and businesses.

The ideal candidate will lead the financing strategy for solar projects, liaise with banks/financial institutions, and ensure timely financial closure to support the company's growth.

  • Manage end-to-end debt raising process – from preparing detailed financial models to negotiations and disbursement.
  • Liaise with banks, investors, and credit rating agencies to secure project financing.
  • Review and negotiate term sheets, loan agreements, and financial covenants.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Business Development, EPC, Legal) for financial due diligence and risk assessment.
  • Monitor cash flow, loan compliance, and repayment schedules for ongoing projects.

An MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA or equivalent with strong financial background and minimum 8–12 years of experience in project finance is required.

A proven track record in debt raising, project financing, and financial closures is essential. Strong expertise in financial modeling, credit appraisal, and risk analysis is also necessary.

Key Requirements:
  • Strong financial modeling skills including IRR, DSCR, payback period, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with internal teams for financial due diligence and risk assessment.
  • Knowledge of innovative financing structures such as leasing, hybrid, or green bonds.
