We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Implementation Architect to join our team at Oracle. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for architecting solutions in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to solve complex customer problems.

Responsibilities

  • Architect cloud-based solutions that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
  • Influence the design, capacity planning, tuning, and build out of customer solutions leveraging Oracle technologies such as WebLogic Mid-Tiers and Exadata DB instances on Oracle Cloud infrastructure.
  • Interact with customers at executive and architect levels for priority situations and respond in a timely manner.
  • Leverage Oracle Cloud Observability and Management technology to create cloud monitoring solutions for customers, providing insights and building dashboards.
  • Play a key role in designing HA/DR solutions around OCI cloud services.
  • Effectively communicate technical solutions with customer executives and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct performance, scalability, and reliability analysis, as well as database query tuning.
  • Collaborate with architects and development managers across Oracle product development teams on requirements specification definition and detailed engineering analysis from a data perspective.
  • Design and improve current service deployment infrastructure using automation and the latest cloud capabilities to enhance agility, reliability, and observability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, engineering, maths, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in architecting solutions for large enterprise systems in cloud environments.
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in a wide range of Oracle products and technologies, including SAAS products, Oracle Fusion Middleware products, Weblogic & Database products.
  • Hands-on implementation of Fusion Middleware products on cloud platforms, preferably on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Strong executive communication, presentation skills, decision-making, convincing skills to resolve complex discussions effectively.
  • Solid understanding of databases, RAC, Exadata, storage, backup, and recovery.
  • Knowledge and experience in using cloud deployment tools like Ansible, Terraform.
  • Experience working on complex software development/integration projects.
  • Experience in Unix/Linux Shell, Perl, Ansible, and Python scripting.
