Lead FPGA Engineer Position

We are seeking a seasoned FPGA professional to spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge digital technologies.

  • This position involves designing, simulating, and implementing digital logic circuits on Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) using VHDL or Verilog.
  • Collaboration with hardware and software teams is crucial for integrating FPGA designs into larger systems.
  • A key aspect of this role includes developing testbenches and performing functional simulations to verify FPGA designs.
  • Synthesis, place and route, and timing analysis will be performed using industry-standard FPGA toolchains (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus).
  • The ideal candidate will have experience debugging and validating FPGA designs on target hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and in-system debugging tools.
  • FPGA design optimization for performance, power, and resource utilization is also essential.
  • The selected individual will be responsible for documenting design specifications, development processes, and test procedures.

The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's / Master's degree in a relevant field. Additionally, at least 3 years of hands-on experience in FPGA development and digital design is required.

  • Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog and familiarity with scripting languages like Tcl or Python are necessary.
  • Experience with FPGA development tools (Xilinx, Intel/Altera, Lattice, etc.) is also mandatory.
  • Preferably, the candidate should have exposure to the latest RF System-on-Chip (RFSoC) technologies.
  • A strong understanding of digital electronics, timing analysis, and embedded systems is crucial for success in this role.
