Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing PCB designs to resolve issues at internal or external PCB fabricators.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, design, electronics engineering, embedded system engineering, ECE, or ETC. They should be familiar with industry-standard tools such as KiCAD, ISIS, ARES, Allegro, or similar software and have experience in using two or more of the PCB designing tools.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Reading and interpreting Electrical/Electronic Schematics
  • Generating detailed Fabrication drawings of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and Gerber files (Artwork)
  • Creating hardware design documents that cover design analysis, notes, and specific guidelines followed
  • Architecting, designing, and developing high-performance/bandwidth PCBs
  • Performing PCB layout for analog, digital, and RF circuit boards through fabrication and assembly drawings generation
  • Transferring schematic net-list design, ID, and ME design into physical PCB design based on electrical considerations
  • Creating and managing PCB documentation, including fabrication and assembly drawings, Gerber files
  • Coordinating and approving PCB layout
  • Preparing BOM and fabrication documentation and following revision control procedures
  • Bringing up and testing of PCBs and auxiliary electronics
  • Developing PCB layout concepts that are in line with products involving efficient manufacturing processes

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and materials, strong knowledge of digital and analog circuit design fundamentals, and strong logic/board debug and analytical skills.
