About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team supporting Colgate Business teams in Marketing, Insights, Sales and other functions across the globe providing Data & Analysis support.
  • Develop and support the Analytical / Insights based Service & solutions.
  • Work closely with Division/Global Analytics team and data and analytics specialists across functions to drive data solutions.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field a plus.
  • Master's in Business or Analytics (preferred).
  • Demonstrable ability to support with multi-functional teams in a multifaceted environment.
  • Proficient in Reporting via Excel, Google, Tableau and other Visualization Tools.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data answering business questions and find opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
  • Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
  • Working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
  • Experience with scripting languages: Python, Java, etc.
  • Experience with Data Flow, Data Pipeline and workflow management tools.
