Cloud Infrastructure Expert

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, and Chef.

This role involves developing and maintaining configuration management using Ruby and Ansible, automating CI/CD pipelines and integrations using Jenkins and related DevOps tools, and creating and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) for consistent and repeatable deployments.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Chef and Ruby for configuration management, proficiency in AWS cloud services and architecture, expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, and solid understanding of Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline integrations.

AWS certifications and experience in financial services or regulated environments are highly desirable. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, and Chef.
  • Develop and maintain configuration management using Ruby and Ansible.
  • Automate CI/CD pipelines and integrations using Jenkins and related DevOps tools.
  • Create and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for consistent and repeatable deployments.
  • Develop scripts and automation tools using Python to streamline operations and support self-service capabilities.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and manage container lifecycle.
  • Support application migration to cloud environments, ensuring minimal downtime and high reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and other regulatory standards in the payments domain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Drive innovation in self-service automation for end users.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Chef and Ruby for configuration management.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services and architecture.
  • Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Solid understanding of Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline integrations.
  • Scripting experience with Python.
  • Experience with Ansible for automation and orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Docker for containerization.
  • Familiarity with Payments systems and PCI DSS compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in application migration to cloud platforms.
  • Experience in building end-user self-service automation tools or platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certifications.
  • Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
