Backend Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to spearhead the development of our scalable backend systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing high-performance, cloud-based applications.

The successful candidate will be proficient in Node.js (NestJS framework preferred) and TypeScript, with a focus on GraphQL API design and implementation.

  • Develop and maintain robust backend applications using Node.js (NestJS) and TypeScript.
  • Design and implement efficient GraphQL APIs and multiple system integrations.
  • Architect, optimize, and scale backend systems on Azure Container Apps.
  • Implement Azure OpenAI integrations and OCR pipelines.
  • Work on both monolithic and microservices-based architectures.
  • Design and integrate event-driven, real-time systems with WebSocket connections.

The engineer will also play a key role in performance tuning, scaling applications, ensuring high unit test coverage, and delivering enterprise-grade solutions through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Backend Application Development: Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js (NestJS) and TypeScript.
  2. GraphQL API Design: Design and implement GraphQL APIs and multiple system integrations.
  3. System Architecture: Architect, optimize, and scale backend systems on Azure Container Apps.
  4. Azure Integration: Implement Azure OpenAI integrations and OCR pipelines.
  5. System Integration: Work on both monolithic and microservices-based architectures.
  6. Event-Driven Systems: Design and integrate event-driven, real-time systems with WebSocket connections.

Requirements:

  • 8–10 Years of Experience: Strong expertise in Node.js (NestJS framework preferred).
  • TypeScript Proficiency: Proficiency in TypeScript with a focus on scalable architecture.
  • GraphQL Knowledge: Hands-on experience in GraphQL API design, implementation, and integrations.
  • Cloud Expertise: Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Azure cloud (Container Apps, scaling, performance tuning).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to deliver maintainable code with 90–95% unit test coverage.
