Job Role: Videography Director

Description:

The Videography Director oversees the filming process under the guidance of the Department Head. This role involves managing studio and off-site operations, directing videographers on multi-camera setups, lighting, set design, and actor preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-production Coordination:
    • Coordinate pre-production logistics
    • Organize and manage all pre-production tasks, including content sorting and preparation
  • Production Management:
    • Oversight of studio operations, including lighting, set design, and actor preparation
    • Manage multi-camera filming to ensure high-quality footage and smooth transitions
    • Guide cameramen during shoots to ensure sound, lighting, and focus are properly controlled
    • Handle studio maintenance and equipment responsibility
  • Footage Management:
    • Ensure proper storage and handling of recorded content

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Demonstrated experience in production coordination and videography direction
    • Familiarity with multi-camera setups and production equipment
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational skills for managing pre-production and studio operations
    • Excellent communication and coordination skills
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Understanding of lighting, set design, cameras
    • Knowledge of studio maintenance, equipment management, and post-production processes
