Web Content Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web Content Specialist to manage and enhance our company's online presence. The ideal candidate will ensure our websites are updated, optimized, and aligned with business goals while providing a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update website content (blogs, events, podcasts, resources) to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Design and develop new pages, landing pages, and microsites that meet the company's brand guidelines.
  • Customize and manage WordPress themes, templates, and plugins to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, secure, and optimized for speed to improve user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues (front-end and back-end) in a timely manner.
  • Implement SEO best practices for improved visibility and search engine rankings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all digital channels.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development (front-end & back end).
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
  • Experience with WordPress page builders (Elementor, Divi, or similar).
  • Strong design sense and ability to translate mockups into functional pages.
  • Familiarity with plugins, integrations, and analytics tools.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and website optimization.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of CRM or marketing integrations (Zoho, Mailchimp, etc.).
  • Prior experience managing websites for events or professional services.
