The Role

As our Growth & Operations Intern, you'll collaborate with our founding team to drive Sagepilot AI's go-to-market strategy. You'll have significant responsibilities, full trust, and backing from the founders, alongside visibility into all aspects of building and scaling an AI startup. Your contributions will directly impact our trajectory as we pursue our goal of reaching 1000 customers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Nurture and grow our current customer acquisition channels, optimizing conversion rates.
  • Support outreach to D2C & consumer brands with $1M-$50M revenue across industries.
  • Help qualify leads and identify ideal customer profile matches.
  • Contribute to content creation showcasing our AI employees' capabilities.

Customer Onboarding & Success

  • Assist with customer onboarding flows, from initial qualification to implementation and go-live.
  • Help configure industry-specific AI Employees for small and medium-sized companies.
  • Work with customers to implement channel integrations and workflow actions.
  • Participate in weekly customer feedback sessions driving product evolution.

Product Development & Operations

  • Help analyze conversation and product usage data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with testing new features and capabilities before customer deployment.
  • Support the creation of industry-specific solution templates accelerating implementation.

Strategic Initiatives

  • Contribute to pitch materials and product demonstrations for larger enterprise prospects.
  • Help gather competitive intelligence on the AI customer engagement landscape.
  • Assist with analyzing key performance metrics and preparing reports.
  • Support the founders with strategic initiatives as the company scales.

Requirements & Benefits

  • Current college student or recent graduate with a passion for agentic AI and its real-world applications.
  • Intellectually curious, able to quickly learn complex technical concepts.
  • Exceptional communication skills, speaking both business and technology languages.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
  • A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can operate with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interest in customer experience, go-to-market strategy, and/or AI implementation.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles, marketing, operations, or AI/tech is beneficial.
