Cloud Security Specialist

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our public cloud initiatives globally. This position will be integral to the network security engineering and delivery for public cloud, including automation and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage with multiple stakeholders to understand the requirements for complex enterprise cloud environments.
- Provide cloud and network security expertise and guidance to cloud programs, including IaaS, PaaS, and Cloud Application Architecture subprograms.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and SMEs to deliver complete security architecture solutions.
- Lead cloud network security initiatives, designing patterns, and developing scalable and secure terraform modules.
- Identify opportunities to automate network security configurations and implementations.
- Monitor and optimize patterns and modules.
A minimum of 7 years of overall experience in data centre, cloud, and networking is required. Hands-on experience in AWS and GCP cloud, containers, Kubernetes, micro services, Terraform, and advanced networking in public cloud are essential. Understanding of classical or cloud-native design patterns and knowledge of security configuration management, container security, endpoint security, and secrets management as applied to cloud applications are also required.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred. Terraform certification and cloud engineering or security certification are highly desirable.
