Cloud Security Specialist Job Description

This role involves ensuring the security of cloud-based applications and data.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing cloud security strategies to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Designing and implementing secure architecture for cloud-based systems.

Requirements include:

  • 5+ years of experience in software and/or cloud platform engineering, particularly focused on GCP environment.
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and shared responsibility models.
  • Experience with cloud security tooling and capabilities, including IAM policies and CSPM.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps processes and workflows.
  • Experience with IaC tooling, preferably Terraform.

The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills.
