Role Overview

As an Integration Specialist, you will design and implement enterprise integrations across supply chain, manufacturing, and industrial automation environments. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and client teams to create robust, scalable, and compliant integrations that enable digital transformation in life sciences manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop integration solutions between ERP systems, supply chain platforms, and industrial automation systems.
  • Apply industry standards such as ISA-95 and ISA-88 in integration design, ensuring consistency and interoperability.
  • Architect and implement Industry 4.0–ready integration frameworks to support smart manufacturing and connected supply chains.
  • Collaborate with client teams to define requirements, map data flows, and establish secure communication protocols.
  • Leverage APIs, middleware, ESBs, and modern integration tools for scalable deployments.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, data integrity).
  • Troubleshoot and optimize integration performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Document integration architecture, specifications, and operating procedures.
  • Support product development by advising on integration best practices and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5–10 years of experience in system integration, industrial automation, or manufacturing IT/OT.
  • Expertise in ISA-95 (Enterprise-Control System Integration) and ISA-88 (Batch Control) standards.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, MES, and supply chain solutions.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation technologies (PLC, SCADA, DCS) and data exchange protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, etc.).
  • Exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, digital twins, and advanced analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of integration platforms (e.g., Apache Camel, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of regulatory compliance in life sciences manufacturing (GxP, GMP).
  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
