Job Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fullstack Developer to drive technology innovation and deliver high-quality digital solutions in the sports industry.

This role will play a key part in shaping our technology proposition and will be responsible for technical seniority, supporting technology consulting projects, and identifying appropriate solutions for clients.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of designing and delivering cutting-edge digital solutions over 7+ years, with a keen interest in applying technology in the sports industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, maintainable code following best practices while defining coding standards and team conventions.
  • Advocate for developer experience and continually improve it.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
  • Lead and influence the technical design, architecture, and development of digital projects.
  • Work closely with Engineering Managers, Engineering Leads, and Product Managers to understand problems and define technical scope.
  • Set up software development frameworks for release management, automation, code quality, and source control.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to other engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends in sports technology.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • High proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js, with experience in Node.js desirable.
  • Experience in CI/CD environments, using tools like Circle CI, GitHub actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • An appreciation of DevOps and platform engineering culture.
  • Experience in agile development practices, continuous integration, and test automation.
  • Familiarity with performance monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Data Dog, Sentry, etc.
