Automation Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Automation Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This role is a remote position, offering the opportunity to work from anywhere.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring software bugs are detected early in the Software Development Lifecycle, collaborating with development teams to promote continuous alignment and quality standards.
- Evaluate and implement automated tests for various testing scenarios across multiple country instances
- Expand automation test coverage to support early detection of bugs and risks
- Liaise closely with country distribution and core domain squads to ensure software quality goals are met
- Develop and propose process improvements aligned with our continuous improvement strategy
- Maintain proficiency in required tools and components for assigned tasks
- Foster adherence to software development best practices and methodologies adopted by our organization
- Create relevant documentation and guidelines to support the quality as everyone's responsibility strategy
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- 7+ years of experience in automated testing
- Knowledge of at least one software development language
- Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, or similar technologies
- Experience building automated test suites for build/regression testing
- Proficiency in Jenkins, CircleCI, Bamboo, or similar tools
The following qualifications are highly valued but not mandatory:
- Experience building Load/Stress Tests using JMeter, Blazemeter, Apache Benchmark, or similar
- Experience working in a continuous integration/deployment environment
- Experience building tests in a microservice/SOA architecture
- Experience testing interfaces and APIs using SOAP-UI, Rest-Assured, or similar tools
