About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SRE Administrator to join our team.

This position involves working on all types of production support activities, attending help requests, installations, configurations, debugging, troubleshooting and root cause analysis, as well as working on application design and deployment projects, change management and monitoring.

  • This role requires a high level of technical expertise in administering applications in cloud environments, including AWS and Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide production, operations support and application administration for business and web applications.
  2. Attend help requests, installations, configurations, debugging, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  3. Work on application design and deployment projects, change management and monitoring.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with about five years of solid experience as an application support administrator in a Microsoft oriented IT environment.
  • Excellent knowledge in administering applications in AWS/Azure cloud with a minimum of two years of experience.
  • Strong expertise in Web Server Knowledge - IIS, Apache web server.
  • Experience with power shell scripts and knowledge of common network protocols (HTTP, FTP) along with ability to debug network related issues using tools like Wireshark.
  • Ability to fine tune applications for any performance issues and effective written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in application security and automatic CI/CD deployment of applications.
  • Thorough understanding of monitoring systems and monitoring methodology.
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases.
