Our organization is seeking a seasoned Business Development Executive to lead the petrochemicals vertical.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate strategic partnerships, focusing on oil rigs and exploration assets, to drive growth and revenue.
  • Evaluate and pursue high-value acquisition opportunities, especially underperforming oil rigs in India and internationally.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive M&A strategy, encompassing target identification, due diligence, financial analysis, negotiations, and integration.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of potential acquisition targets in coastal regions globally.
  • Leverage existing networks and build key relationships with stakeholders in the global petrochemical and oil exploration sector.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to execute deals efficiently.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to identify new growth avenues.
  • Represent the organization at international forums, trade shows, and industry conferences.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in business development, M&A, or strategy in the petrochemicals/oil & gas sector.
  • Proven track record of deal-making, especially with international assets or companies.
  • In-depth understanding of upstream oil & gas operations, particularly rig operations.
  • Global network in the petrochemical space, especially in coastal countries with active oil rigs.
  • Exceptional negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • MBA or relevant technical qualification preferred.
