Job Title: IT Administrator (Associate Level)

This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with 2 to 3 years of experience in IT administration. You will assist in maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and ensuring smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide First-Level Technical Support: Assist employees with hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Maintain IT Systems: Ensure the company's computers, servers, and networking equipment are up-to-date and running smoothly.
  • Install Software: Assist in installing and updating software across the company's systems.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Identify, diagnose, and resolve basic IT problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Data Security: Help ensure regular data backups and contribute to the company's data security efforts.
  • Document IT Assets: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, issues, and resolutions in a ticketing or documentation system.
  • Network Monitoring: Assist in monitoring and maintaining the company's local area network (LAN) and internet connectivity.
  • Basic IT Security: Support tasks such as antivirus updates and security patches.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Mandatory for this role.
  • 2-3 Years of Experience: In IT support or administration, including internships, part-time roles, or self-taught experience.
  • Familiarity with:
  • Windows and/or Linux: Operating systems and their basic maintenance.
  • Network Concepts: Understanding of IP addresses, DNS, routers, and switches.
  • Hardware Components: Knowledge of computers, printers, and servers.
  • Office Productivity Software: Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other essential tools.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
