Job Summary:

An Information Security Auditor Specialist is a cybersecurity professional responsible for monitoring and detecting security threats within an organization's IT infrastructure.

  • Identify and analyze security incidents, guiding associates and peers through the incident response process.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, applying concepts like risk management, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
  • Participate in auditing and assessing information systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance on information security controls, including network security, data encryption, and access control.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.
  • Perform root cause analysis, identifying areas for improvement in security processes and procedures.
  • Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
  2. Develop and implement security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and objectives, providing tailored solutions.
  4. Lead projects to design, implement, and test information security controls.
  5. Maintain accurate records of audit findings and client interactions.
Requirements: Education and Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISA, or CEH.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of information security principles, technologies, and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in security auditing tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Work Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in information security, preferably in an audit or assessment role.
