Job Title: System Patch Specialist

  • A highly skilled system patch specialist is required to manage and implement patches for our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patching Management: The system patch specialist will be responsible for managing and implementing patches for our systems, ensuring that all systems meet compliance standards.
  • Power Shell Scripting: Strong experience in PowerShell scripting is required to create customized remediation scripts.
  • MECM/SCCM: Hands-on experience in MECM (for patching/remediation activities) and strong troubleshooting skills are required for OS/paching related issues.
  • Qualys Tool: Experience in using Qualys tool to remediate patch vulnerabilities is essential.
  • Troubleshooting: Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills are required.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT field with 6 years of relevant experience in patch management.
  • Strong knowledge of patch management, power shell scripting, MECM, SCCM, and Qualys tool.
  • Hands-on experience in deployment of security patches, maintaining compliance, and mitigating vulnerabilities using tools like MECM/SCCM.
  • Ability to prioritize patches based on criticality, including zero-day vulnerabilities and past-due updates.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
