Role Summary:

Wimmer Solutions is seeking a seasoned Peoplesoft Developer/Analyst to support PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, including Human Resources, Benefits Administration, eBenefits, Payroll for North America, Time & Labor, and custom-built modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with functional users to define and document business requirements.
  • Analyze system functionality, researching delivered capabilities and existing customizations.
  • Identify potential impact of proposed application changes on other modules within the application.
  • Develop and maintain technical specification documents.
  • Design and implement solutions meeting business needs and deadlines, adhering to development standards.
  • Test cases are documented and executed to ensure thorough testing of developed work.
  • Perform quality assurance testing on projects completed by team members.
  • Resolve production issues through analysis, design, coding, and implementation, providing relevant communication as outlined in service level agreements.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM development, including PeopleTools/Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR, COBOL, Application Engine, SQL, and DMS Scripts.
  • Experience using Oracle Database 19c or above.
  • Functional and technical understanding of the PeopleSoft HCM product suite, including Human Resources, Benefits Administration, eBenefits, Payroll for North America, and Time and Labor.
  • Hands-on experience with the full software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred qualifications include experience with Linux and PeopleSoft development tools like Integration Broker and Component Interface, as well as hands-on experience with the full software development lifecycle, excellent problem-solving and analysis skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
