Virtual Desktop Solutions Architect

We are seeking an innovative professional to join our team as a Virtual Desktop Solutions Architect.

  • Design, implement, and maintain virtual desktop solutions using Citrix technologies

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design Architect

Develop end-to-end virtual desktop architectures by analyzing business requirements, assessing existing infrastructure, and designing scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions

Citrix Integration Specialist

Integrate Citrix products including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud with Azure virtual desktop services to provide comprehensive and cohesive virtual desktop solutions

Azure Virtual Desktop Configuration Expert

Configure and manage Azure virtual machines, session hosts, virtual networks, and storage to create and maintain Azure virtual desktop environments

Identity and Access Management Strategist

Design and implement identity and access management strategies including integration with Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls for virtual desktop environments

Network Infrastructure Designer

Design and configure network connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure including network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers to ensure secure and efficient data transfer

Performance Optimization Specialist

Optimize virtual desktop environments for performance, scalability, and user experience by monitoring and tuning resource allocation, load balancing, and network bandwidth

Security and Compliance Officer

Implement security measures including data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements to protect virtual desktop environments and ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies

High Availability and Disaster Recovery Specialist

Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime and data loss by creating redundancy mechanisms, backup strategies, and failover mechanisms to ensure business continuity

Monitoring and Troubleshooting Engineer

Set up monitoring tools and processes to proactively monitor the virtual desktop infrastructure, identify and troubleshoot performance issues, system errors, and network connectivity problems to maintain a stable and reliable environment

Documentation and Collaboration Lead

Create design documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures to ensure successful deployment and ongoing management of virtual desktop solutions

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Citrix technologies and Azure virtual desktop services
  • Strong understanding of virtual desktop architecture, network security, and performance optimization
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
