Job Overview

The National Manufacturing Excellence Manager will be responsible for implementing a production system and continuous improvement program.

Key responsibilities include coordinating the implementation of various production pillars, including a continuous improvement pillar, and facilitating project management of focused continuous improvements.

Main Activities:
  • Coordinate implementation of production pillars
  • Implement CI programs such as 5S, Kaizen, RCA, Visual Management System, Focused Continuous Improvement, SMED, Error Proofing, and Strategy Deployment
  • Support departments in implementing a production system and KPI reporting
  • Facilitate project management of focused continuous improvements
Requirements:
  • Good working relationship with frontline employees, operators, and supervisors
  • Efficient in MS Office functions for plant applications
  • Experience working with statistical software like Minitab
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering; Post-Graduation added advantage
  • At least 7 years of experience in CI role in process or manufacturing industry
  • Experience in implementing global production systems for multinational companies
  • Proficient in plant KPIs and MS Office working
  • Facilitating operations, quality, and continuous improvement audits
  • Project management skills, including charters, budgeting, execution, and reporting

Must have initiative, drive, presentation, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, mentoring, analytical, and execution excellence skills.
