Renewable Energy Asset Manager

Job Overview:
Support the Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts in formulating annual budgets for renewable energy assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the formulation of the annual business plan and budget for RE assets
- Collaborate with Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts in formulating annual budgets for RE Assets
- Monitor budget compliance across all assets through proper cost control and financial policies
- Provide periodic status updates to management on compliance to budget and financial parameters
- Manage accounting processes and activities for RE assets
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for RE assets
- Perform month-on-month comparisons and provide MIS to management on findings
- Ensure accurate update of derivative accounting entries and monitor compliance with financial controls
- Facilitate internal and external audits for RE assets
- Coordinate with auditors to drive timely completion of financial audits
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
Requirements:
- Minimum education qualifications: CA
- Knowledge of IND AS, tax calculation, tax audit and tax return
- Thorough understanding of the Indian Power Industry
- Sound understanding of Indian and HK accounting standards
- Knowledge of preparation of Financial Statements as per Companies Act 2013, Statutory & SOX audit
- Knowledge of Derivatives Accounting, capitalization and general insurance
- Communication and Influencing Skills
- Negotiation Skills
- Relevant years of experience: 6-8 years in power industry accounting
