Automation Lead Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation Lead to join our team.

As an Automation Lead, you will be responsible for leading the automation efforts and ensuring that our software is tested thoroughly and efficiently. Your primary goal will be to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, Typescript, and API testing frameworks.

You will collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans. You will execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify issues and ensure quality.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members. You will document test processes, results, and track issues in a clear and concise manner.

Strong experience in Retail ecommerce systems, writing SQL queries, API testing, and working with Business and project teams to understand test requirements is highly desirable.
