Job Title: Test Automation Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Automation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for complex applications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test frameworks using various tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into test plans and test cases.
  • Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, End-to-End testing, regression testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using project management tools.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and quality are considered early in the development process.
  • Mentor junior SDETs and guide best practices for software testing and development.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests into the software delivery process.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing and development, with a focus on test automation.
  • 3+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Java or Python.
  • Experience with test automation tools Playwright, Test Complete, Selenium and Appium.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with version control systems GitHub and issue tracking tools JIRA.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
