The Role of the Cyber Security Analyst at a Global Leader in Cyber Security Technology

  • This is a full-time position that requires immediate joiners and involves working from our office in Hyderabad, India.

Our primary focus areas in Cyber Security include application security, network and infra security, cloud security, threat detection and response, and Darkweb monitoring and OSINT.

Responsibilities of the Cyber Security Analyst
  • Maintain 24x7 monitoring of enterprise customers from our SOC Centre in Hyderabad, India.
  • Analyze alerts, manage cases, report incidents, and conduct forensic analysis.
  • Operate across three shifts on a rotation basis.

We seek candidates with strong networking and system administration backgrounds who have transitioned into security and have demonstrated a strong interest in cyber security through their work/projects.

Qualifications for the Cyber Security Analyst
  • Candidates must be currently working in a SOC in an L1 or L2 position with real hands-on experience.
  • Candidates should have graduated in any science or engineering subject or have one/two years of industry experience with a background in networking/administration.
  • Candidates will handle alert monitoring, analysis, observables establishment, raw log fetching, intelligence correlations, incident reporting, dashboard-based outlier monitoring, and SOAR automation development for customers.
  • Candidates must be self-initiated and driven to learn cyber security, have worked with Linux during the last two years, be familiar with GitHub, and possess some knowledge of shell and Python.
  • Candidates should have a deep understanding of the MITRE framework, the cyber kill chain, and its applications in monitoring.
