Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Innovation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and delivering service improvement activities across the business by employing process improvement methodologies and innovative thinking.

You will work closely with key business stakeholders and our Centre of Excellence to build a continuous improvement environment that supports an ongoing manufacturing transformation. This will involve leading and facilitating WCM practices to achieve better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity in business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the standard world-class manufacturing framework across all pan-India plants to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Work with other team members and departments to devise new support material based on revised processes, including training, reporting, and systems enhancements.
  • Actively monitor project risks to foresee potential problems and proactively identify solutions to mitigate them.
  • Ensure business impact and project objectives/dependencies are identified, reported, and managed at all times.
  • Set up programs, deliver coaching, and run projects across plants to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Complete post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery and improvements for future projects.
  • Continuously improve efficiency KPIs in manufacturing sites to drive operational excellence.
  • Implement lean methods to increase efficiency, throughput, and operational excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good honors degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Excellent understanding of continuous improvement concepts including Six Sigma, Lean, and value stream mapping.
  • Strong analytical, project, and product management skills, including interpreting business needs and translating them into operational requirements.
  • The ability to set up, facilitate, and lead service improvement/workshops with a range of business stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
