Director of Placement Job

The position of Director of Placement is a critical role within an educational institution. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing the placement process, ensuring that students are prepared and successfully placed in various programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing students for placements through targeted training and support.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong industry connections to facilitate campus recruitment drives.
  • Developing and implementing effective negotiation and communication strategies to secure placements.
  • Monitoring and controlling progress throughout the placement process, providing regular reports and updates.
  • Identifying and organizing interaction programs to promote career opportunities within the university and external agencies.
  • Tracking application forms, pre-screening candidates, shortlisting, and scheduling interviews.
  • Providing counseling on procedures to applicants and maintaining accurate records of their information.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in management, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Desirable: Postgraduate degree in management, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in the placement process, including applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in corporate placements in the NCR region.
  • Strong network base across PAN India, with experience working in multi-disciplinary universities.
