Job Overview:

This role involves leading the development and maintenance of advanced data pipelines and architectures to inform strategic decision-making. You will partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable data solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into actionable data solutions.
  • Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures on cloud environments.
  • Implement and automate data ingestion and transformation workflows using ELT best practices.
  • Create intuitive dashboards and reports to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and enforce scalable data models for analytics use cases.
  • Mentor and lead a team of data engineers, guiding them in their professional development.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends in data engineering and introduce innovative solutions where applicable.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in data engineering, with hands-on leadership in building and managing large-scale data platforms.
  • Proven skills in designing complex queries and procedures.
  • Experience in predictive analytics, including working with modeling data and integrating models into data pipelines.
  • Good working knowledge of Python for data transformation and ML support.
  • Deep understanding of data modeling techniques and data warehouse design principles.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines for code and data solution deployment.
