Job Description

Tarlon.io is seeking a highly experienced and innovative WordPress developer to lead the development of large-scale enterprise-level websites. Key responsibilities include developing and customizing WordPress themes, plugins, and templates, as well as managing large-scale content uploads, data migrations, and integrations. You will also be responsible for optimizing websites for speed, security, and SEO best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and templates
  • Build with Gutenberg, Kadence, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
  • Manage large-scale content uploads, data migrations, and integrations
  • Optimize websites for speed, security, and SEO best practices
  • Collaborate with designers to implement responsive, user-focused layouts
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously improve site performance

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in large-scale WordPress development
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Skilled in Gutenberg, Kadence, and ACF
  • Solid foundation in SEO and website performance optimization
  • Experience with version control systems (Git preferred)
  • Familiarity with WP Engine hosting, AWS, and Cloudflare is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent real-world experience)
