As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring production meets plan.

You will manage resources required for production, including manpower, machinery, materials, and finances. Your role involves monitoring production progress to ensure timely completion of projects.

Quality is key in this position; you must conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure products meet company standards.

A safe working environment is essential; you will enforce safety policies and procedures to minimize accidents and injuries.

Inventory management is also crucial; you must manage raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods to avoid production interruptions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-15 years of experience in freight car business and wagon manufacturing business
  • Proficiency in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • Knowledge of production processes and procedures, including welding, assembly, and testing
