Job Title: Cloud Data Engineer

Description:

This role focuses on designing and implementing large-scale data processing architectures using AWS services.

You will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, ensuring high performance, and optimizing costs. Your expertise in big data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and YARN is crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines using AWS services such as S3, EC2, EMR, Lambda, and Step Functions.
  • Design and implement cloud-based databases, including Aurora, Singlestore, RedShift, and Snowflake.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data solutions that meet those needs.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects and provide estimation, scoping, and scheduling assistance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • A minimum of 7-9 years of IT experience, with 5+ years of experience in AWS-related projects.
  • Associate Level and Professional Level AWS Certification is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of programming languages like Scala, Python, Shell Scripts, and PySpark.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security concepts, including VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, and Route Tables.
