Applicative Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Applicative Security Specialist to join our team.

This role involves designing secure environments tailored to business needs using Role Based Access Control (RBAC).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and designing secure Snowflake environments tailored to business needs using RBAC.
  • Designing audit logs and monitoring solutions to track data access and actions within Snowflake.
  • Leading incident detection and response processes related to security breaches or vulnerabilities within Snowflake.
  • Staying updated with Snowflake security features and updates.
  • Collaborating with data architects, IT teams, and external partners to ensure security policies are integrated across the data pipeline.
  • Reporting security status, risks, and strategies to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in designing Applicative Security using RBAC.
  • Strong understanding of database security, encryption algorithms, and authentication protocols.
  • Technical skills: Experience and strong knowledge of Snowflake Applicative security controls and configurations, experience in designing Applicative security frameworks and governance models, experience in Snowflake SQL and Hadoop type database knowledge (>3 years), Python experience preferred, ability to see and understand multiple relations between data and metadata objects,
  • Soft skills: Good presentation and communication skills with a strong attention to detail and listening capacity. In a team spirit mode, with different diverse actors, you have ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You demonstrate capacity to learn new technologies in short amount of time to adapt to changes and answer challenges.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is a must to operate in a multicultural environment.
