Secure Applications Engineer

The role of an Embedded Security Specialist is to bridge the gap between security and development teams. This position ensures that security is embedded throughout our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). We are seeking a skilled professional with strong knowledge of secure coding, application security testing, and source code analysis.
Key responsibilities include conducting manual and automated code reviews to identify security vulnerabilities, defining and implementing Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) pipelines using tools such as SNYK, Checkmarx, Fortify, OWASP ZAP, or Burp Suite. The successful candidate will also collaborate with development teams to remediate vulnerabilities and educate on secure coding standards.
Requirements for this position include 5-8 years in Security Architecture, AppSec, or a combined development and security engineering role. Strong hands-on experience in secure coding, application security testing, and source code analysis is essential. Solid knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, version control (especially GitHub/GitLab), and branch control strategies is required.
